Elf on the Shelf 2017, Week 5

Welcome back to Elf on the Shelf, Season 2017!

Last week, Cookie, our Elf on the Shelf, played Scrabble and Taboo and fed the duckies, let's see what she has been up to this week:

Christmas tree shopping, convertible sports car style! Luckily, in real life, our tree just about fitted into my trunk.

H*** if I can squeeze in an oversized hockey bag, I'll sure be able to transport a measly tree ;-)))

Cookie was not impressed about the fact that the tree didn't get decorated so she hinted we get started already!

I think she approved!

As "name tags" for Christmas Eve dinner we made some bracelets. Why there wasn't one for Cookie as well was beyond her. She decided not to be bummed about it and instead get to work and make her own!

Before going to bed Colin talked to Cookie and asked her not to leave just yet - "Spengler Cup is about to start tomorrow, and it's going to be great, you'll see" he said. Why not, she even printed the game schedule.

Mr Moose and Cookie got ready for Team Canada to play!

No white Christmas again this year - no reason not to do a little sledding, though, right?

Is there such a thing as too many cookies? Clearly Cookie doesn't believe so! We used the Mint ones for another take at a Chocolate Mint Cheesecake...

Let's do a Time Capsule, Cookie suggested. She also asked Colin to let Santa know if she's invited to visit in 2018 as Colin getting older.

Having fun with multiple Olafs

"This is where I live. Goodbye, dear Colin!" Said the note.

This concludes our adventures for 2017. Not sure if Cookie will return next season.

Thank you for bearing with us! See you next year - either way!
